We find ourselves in the somewhat privileged position of being able to say that there hasn’t been much time to reflect on the year until now. The four salons have been the style equivalent of a certain North Pole workshop – very busy and focused on ensuring that everybody gets exactly what they want.
Looking back at 2022, there are a few key things that we have observed. The biggest takeaway is that there is an inevitable opportunity cost when it comes to health and beauty. While we are all trying to tighten our belts as part of the cost of living crisis, we are also aware that looking good equates to feeling good. As always, our incredible clients have shown their ongoing support visiting the salon over Christmas and buying gift vouchers for friends, family and colleagues. We are very grateful for this consistent loyalty to the Hugh Campbell Hair Group and other locally-owned Limerick businesses.
This is also the first Christmas since 2019 without restrictions or the same level of caution around socialising. New Year parties, winter weddings and family gatherings are back with a bang so outfits and looks are being planned for the festivities. We want to celebrate, to reconnect and to look and feel amazing while doing it.
There weren’t many positives from the pandemic, but maybe the silver linings are the realisation of what’s really important to us and the greater focus on self-care. And healthy, beautiful hair is very much part of that.
Everybody here at the Hugh Campbell Hair Group wishes you a restorative and glamorous Christmas. Thank you for your ongoing custom and we look forward to meeting all of your style needs in a New Year characterised by nothing but good health and happiness.
Best wishes to you and yours,
