We are currently looking for an experienced FRONT OF HOUSE RECEPTIONIST/SALON COORDINATOR to join our award-winning team.

The ideal candidates would be available to work full-time and have worked in a similar front-facing receptionist role for a minimum of 2 years. They would have a keen interest in the hair, fashion and beauty industry.
Ideal applicants would display a friendly, courteous and professional manner with outstanding customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team. They would be confident with a supervisory and leadership role.
Experience with managing social media platforms such as Instagram would be a distinct advantage.

Job Specification
The salon coordinator/ receptionist role involves:
– All duties required in the day to day running of the salon
– Answering calls in a timely manner and booking appointments for clients
– Welcoming clients to the salon and informing staff members of their arrival
– Monitoring the client’s journey and experience through the salon
– Checking out clients by taking payments for services and offering rebooking’s
– Assigning breaks, lunches and organising the salon roster with the Manager
– Assisting clients with retail purchases – Haircare and Electrical.*
– Retail stock takes and ordering to maintain stock levels
– Delegating jobs to staff to maintain salon hygiene and cleanliness
– Ordering salon supplies
– Cash up and reconciliation
– Key holder – opening and closing of salon
