Last week’s Summer Solstice marked the beginning of longer nights and ushered in the summer feel of hazy days. With the gradual easing of restrictions, there seems to be more anticipation of summer than ever before. We mightn’t be able to hit foreign shores this year but we can certainly revel in the reconnection with all those we hold close. Beach days, barbeque evenings and cocktails when the sun goes down –it’s all ahead of us and, as we emerge from the shadow of this pandemic, it’s going to be fabulous.
When we think of what summer feels like, we think of lightness, freedom and a slower pace. Those are the same things that make for great summer hair – we want all the movement and gloss, with less styling and effort. This summer also calls for a certain amount of reinvention. Between lockdowns and social distancing, everyone is looking a little different so there has never been a better time to try something new. Maybe it’s a sprinkle of highlights to accompany a summer glow or some layers cut into the new length that came from not being able to visit us.
Whatever it is, we are here and we are ready to bring some summer sunshine your way.
