Is the Cerafill thinning hair solutions range safe for colour-treated hair?

Yes, all products in the Cerafill thinning hair solutions range are safe for color-treated and chemically treated hair.

Can I use Cerafill thinning hair solutions if I’m pregnant or undergoing chemotherapy treatment?

All Cerafill thinning hair solutions products are safe for pregnant women and people undergoing chemotherapy, except Minoxidil. Minoxidil may be harmful if used when pregnant or breast-feeding. See Minoxidil Drug Facts box and product insert. Regarding clients using Minoxidil who are undergoing medical treatments such as chemotherapy, a question of this nature would need to be addressed by the patient’s physician as every case would be different.

Are Cerafill thinning hair solutions products sulfate-free?

Although Cerafill thinning hair solutions products are safe for color-treated and chemically treated hair, Cerafill thinning hair solutions products are not sulfate-free.

 

What is Minoxidil?

Minoxidil is an FDA-approved drug, clinically proven to regrow hair.* It is only available for sale in the United States.

What are Cerafill thinning hair solutions’ key ingredients?

The Cerafill thinning hair solutions’ System Technology includes ceramide to strengthen hair and help prevent breakage, SP-94 to nourish the scalp, filloxane to provide a visibly fuller effect and the separate product, Minoxidil Topical Solution, USP to help regrow hair.

How does Retaliate Shampoo and Conditioner stimulate the scalp?

Both products contain menthol which creates a normal tingling/cooling sensation on the scalp.

Defy formulas contain Zinc PCA a known DHT inhibitor. The Retaliate range of products is for clients who have visible hair loss and are in the advanced stages of thinning hair. Retaliate products also contain a higher level of menthol for increased stimulation on the scalp when used with massage.

How is Defy different from Redken Body Full?

Body Full is for fine and flat hair and is for clients who want to add volume. Body Full is part of Redken’s haircare range. Cerafill thinning hair solutions is a new brand powered by Redken Science. Cerafill thinning hair solutions is for clients who are concerned with thinning (hair loss). The Cerafill Defy system is for clients who want to add thickness and density to their hair in addition to volume.
