Patrick Cameron  & Amanda Whittome

The Irish Hairdresser of the year, Amanda Whittome (Melo Yelo) will not forget the 2 days she spent with one of the most famous hairdresser in the world, Patrick Cameron.

Amanda took part in the Wella Ireland Seminars in Dublin and had the opportunity to work up close with one of her favourite hairdresser: “I think that in hairdressing you never know enough and that there is always room for improvement. Now I want to bring back to the salon floor all I’ve learnt with Patrick”.

During the two days seminar, Patrick Cameron shared is skill and vision about up style showing several ways to dress hair.

2009 has been a year full of reward for Amanda. In March the Irish Hairdresser Federation nominated her Irish hairdresser of the year. She was the first hair stylist outside of Dublin to win the title.

“I have proven that Limerick is a very fashionable city where there is a lot of talent. In Melo Yelo and in all the other salons of the Hugh Campbell Hair Group we work in order to provide our clients with the highest standards in hairdressing“.

In 2009 several stylist of the Hugh Campbell Hair Group where awarded by the Irish Hairdresser Federation: Cyril Morgan (Marbles) won the Commercial look of the year and Michelle Murphy the choice of the Editor.
