Amanda Whittome (Melo Yelo) wins Irish Hairdresser of the year 2009.

 The competition organised by the Irish Hairdressing Federation is one of the most prestigious awards in the country. 

Amanda adds the title of Irish Hairdresser of the year to her previous achievements; 8 time European medalist, European Hairdressing Champion and double silver medalist in the World Championship. 

The much coveted title of Irish Hairdresser of the year 2009 took place in the RDS Dublin with over 560 hairdressers from across the country competing in eleven categories for this prestigious award.
